Who We Are

We are three friends who all went to the same high school in Ohio. Yet, we were not friends in high school. Wheels and Panda graduated the same year and shared much of the same friend group, but were not close at that point. Red graduated from the school a few years later. But it wasn't until 1991 in Atlanta, GA that the three of us connected. Wheels and Panda had been close for several years by then and had moved to the ATL eighteen months prior. When Red arrived we quickly connected and realized we had much in common. From the love of sports, music and all things Ohio State Buckeyes, to pool, pizza and the Buckhead bar scene, fast friendships were made. Fast forward a few decades and the three of us communicate almost daily, and the idea of doing something together took root. This website is the culmination of those discussions, and it encompasses the subjects that brought the three of us together in the first place. We believe there are others out there who reflect on the 80's with great fondness, and we think there's room for a website that celebrates that wonderful and wacky decade. We hope you'll check out our little playground and join in if you feel like it. And please let us know if there's anything in particular you'd like us to cover more fully on the site. We gravitate towards music, sports, movies and cars, but all topics are open, so let us know.
